Our Story
Over two decades ago, three friends in Fredericton, New Brunswick decided outsourced IT can be better.
We’re still headquartered in Eastern Canada and true to our small-business roots, but today the company has a global presence; trusting Bulletproof to secure their identities, networks, data, and devices footprint—and we’re still growing!

2000
Bulletproof is founded in Fredericton, New Brunswick with three employees.
2001
Bulletproof adds cybersecurity consulting services to its offerings.
2004
Bulletproof begins operating as a security services firm, quickly establishing a robust offering of testing, audit, and security management services across Eastern Canada.
2005
Bulletproof launches our 24/7 service desk.
2007
Bulletproof becomes a Microsoft Partner.
2016
Bulletproof is acquired by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), becoming a global player in the IT security services and expanding into the U.S. gaming & lottery markets.
2017
Our Security Operations Centre (SOC) opens, offerings 24/7 monitoring and threat response for clients.
2018
Bulletproof announces the launch of its turnkey managed IT service offering, Bulletproof 365.
2019
Bulletproof becomes one of only a few companies nationally to receive Cybersecure Canada accreditation.
Through the GLI Group acquisition, SeNet International Corporation merges with Bulletproof.
Bulletproof announces the launch of its next-generation Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) solution, Bulletproof 365 Enterprise, powered by Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Sentinel.
Bulletproof wins award for demonstrating innovative technology including two KIRA Awards: Economic Impact Through Innovation and the People’s Choice Award, Foreign-Owned Exporter of the Year at New Brunswick Export Awards, and the Microsoft Canada Modern Workplace Innovation Partner of the Year IMPACT Award.
2020
Bulletproof wins the 2020 Microsoft Canada Modern Workplace IMPACT Award.
2021
Bulletproof announces that launch of its compliance-focused managed information protection service, Bulletproof 365 Compliance.
Bulletproof wins 2021 Microsoft Security Partner of the Year [Global] for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of end-to-end security solutions.
Bulletproof wins the Microsoft Canada Security IMPACT Award.
Becomes a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and a holder of the Microsoft Threat Protection Advanced Specialization.
2022
Bulletproof acquires IT firm Terminal in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bulletproof wins 2022 Microsoft Canada Security IMPACT Award and Marketing Campaign Excellence IMPACT Award, marking the fourth consecutive year of the Microsoft IMPACT Award wins.

We prioritize funding to activities and programs that have a broad reach and support the needs of underserved communities and advancing racial equity.
#2 Employee Volunteerism and Giving
Part of what makes Bulletproof’s philanthropy program so robust is the generosity of our employees who multiply our community impact, locally and collectively. Each year, eligible employees receive 8 hours paid volunteer time to give back to local communities where they live and work.
Bulletproof provides an innovative and comprehensive portfolio of volunteer opportunities that allows for employees across the globe to engage where and how they want.
#3 Green Initative
We understand that the environment is the heart of our world. In addition to the support, we give to environmental causes, we engage in green initiatives throughout our global network of offices.
In each of our offices, we promote recycling and seek out vendors and products with a greener composition.
#4 Education
Education is the heart of the future, which is why we support innovative programs like UNB Coding Boot Camp, UNB Co-op program, UNB and NBCC Career fairs, sponsorship to local hockey and Lacrosse association.
Our education initiatives extend to our employees, where our education assistance program helps to ensure our employees are empowered to continually achieve even greater heights.
